Shrimps with fruits and lavender butter


  • 500 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 medium mango, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 medium pineapple, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup sea buckthorn berries (can be frozen)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried lavender
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of one lime


Heat frying pan and add the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the dried lavender and fry for about a minute to release the aroma. Add defrosted shrimp to a pan and fry for 2-3 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add diced mango, pineapple, and sea berries to the pan. Fry for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruits are lightly warmed. Add the lime juice into the skillet and thoroughly mix all the ingredients. Fry for another minute to allow the flavors to blend. Serve the dish immediately after cooking. This dish taste perfectly with basmati rice, mixed greens salad, or crispy bread.
